Haaland Slams Trump Administration for Stealing Public Lands from New Mexico
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Deb Haaland (NM-01) released the following statement on the news that President Trump’s Department of the Interior will transfer 560 acres of federally protected public lands to the U.S. Army for the construction of 70 miles of Trump’s unpopular border wall, paid for with taxpayer money. In New Mexico, the transfer includes 213 acres in Luna and Hidalgo counties.
